COURSE POLICY:

In order to facilitate an easy and enjoyable online learning experience for all, this course policy is put in place.

  • COURSE DATES. Courses run four times a year, beginning on the first day of the first month and ending on the last day of the second month. There is a gap month in between each of the four annual sessions that allow for "catch up" should you need extra time due to work or family obligations. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you need, but you MUST complete the course by the last date of the third month in each sequence (e.g., March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31).
    • January-February
    • April-May
    • July-August
    • October-November

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE: complete all 8 chapter quizzes and pass with at least 70% (each quiz follows the content exactly as it appears in the text); participate in the beginning/ending Images of Culture Exercise; once a week either create or respond to a post (or both).

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you find that this course is not for you, after taking the first module of the course, you may receive a refund (minus the cost of the book and the COI assessment tool, which is $150.) Please note that due to a third party provider, once the book and COI are ordered, these cannot be refunded.
